Practitioner Engagement Facilitator

As a Practitioner Engagement Facilitator I help research outcomes from the Research Centre for Ecosystem Resilience (ReCER) reach restoration practitioners. I’m tasked with raising awareness of the relevance of genomic information to ecological restoration and with facilitating collaborative projects with on-ground practitioners. Increasing practitioner use of the Restore and Renew web tools is a key focus.

I have a research background in threatened flora ecology and conservation genetics, spent a decade coordinating recovery projects for threatened plants, and am President of my local Landcare group – so I’m fortunate to both understand the science and have experience in its practical application.
